UploadMint does not upload your images for processing.
Supported images are decoded, resized, converted and compressed in your browser. Image bytes, filenames and previews are not sent to an UploadMint processing server. A web worker is used where supported; a local browser fallback handles compatible older browsers.
Your image and result are held in browser memory while you use the tool. Starting over releases their temporary URLs; closing the page clears the working session. UploadMint does not intentionally store images on its servers or in browser storage. A file you download is saved wherever your browser normally saves downloads.
Loading UploadMint still makes normal requests for its pages, scripts and styles. The hosting provider may receive routine connection information such as your IP address, browser information and request logs. A private preview may also require the hosting platform’s sign-in; the UploadMint tool itself has no account system.
This version includes no analytics collector, advertising scripts or UploadMint tracking cookies. Privacy-conscious, anonymous usage measurements may be added later. This page will be updated before any collection is enabled.
The tool redraws images onto a new canvas rather than copying the original file. Original EXIF information, including camera and location details, is not intentionally retained. The browser encoder may add basic output metadata. For sensitive images, independently check the downloaded file before sharing it.
No UploadMint account is required and the original file is not modified. You choose whether to download or share the result. Only process images you have permission to use.
